Websites for accountants that win the right clients.

Most accountancy websites look the same and say the same things. We build sites that explain who you help, what you charge and why to switch, and that rank when local business owners search or ask AI for an accountant.

What an accountancy website needs to do.

Speak to each client type

Limited companies, sole traders, landlords and individuals have different questions. Give each a clear page so they can see you understand them.

Make fees easy to understand

Fixed monthly packages or clear guide prices remove the biggest reason people hesitate to get in touch.

Make switching feel simple

Many enquiries come from people unhappy with their current accountant. A short, reassuring guide to switching converts them.

Answer deadline questions

Self Assessment, VAT and Making Tax Digital content brings in searches at exactly the moment people need help.

Show who people will deal with

Clients choose a person, not a logo. Real photos and short profiles do more than any stock image.

Capture enquiries properly

A short form, a booking link and automatic acknowledgements, so no enquiry waits during the busy season.

The disclosures clients and regulators expect

Under the Provision of Services Regulations 2009, practices must make certain information available to clients, such as their professional indemnity insurer and its territorial coverage. Many firms put it in the engagement letter; a website footer or a short “Regulatory information” page makes it easy to find. We build that page in from the start.

Checklist

  • Your firm’s legal status and registered details
  • Your professional body and practising details
  • Professional indemnity insurer and territorial coverage, where you must hold cover
  • VAT number, if you are registered
  • How to complain, and how you handle complaints
  • Your privacy notice

This is a design checklist, not legal or regulatory advice. Confirm the details that apply to you with your regulator or professional body.

Making Tax Digital is a website opportunity

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax applies from April 2026 to sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000, and from April 2027 to those over £30,000, with the government planning a £20,000 threshold from April 2028. Every one of those people is searching for answers, and many will be looking for a new accountant. A clear, current MTD page with a simple “am I affected?” check is one of the most useful things an accountancy website can have right now.

Getting found on Google and AI search

When a business owner asks ChatGPT or Google AI Mode for an accountant in their town, the answer is a local one. In our own tests of local questions, the tools leaned on Google Business Profiles, reviews and pages that answered the exact question. In our tests, pages written for one type of client, one sector or one town were the ones AI tools cited. We build those pages in, then measure what AI tools say about you.

Questions firms ask us

How much does a website for an accountancy practice cost?

Our websites start from £1,395. Most practices need service pages by client type, a fees page and a switching guide, which we quote for upfront.

Can you show our software partner badges and reviews?

Yes. Partner badges, professional body logos and reviews all belong on the site, used in line with each provider’s own rules.

Can clients book a call or upload documents?

Booking a call, yes, built in. For document upload we recommend using your existing practice software’s secure portal rather than a website form.

Will it work for a sole practitioner?

Yes. A single practitioner often benefits most, because the website can answer questions and capture enquiries while you are with clients.
